![]() If the support article here is still up to date then when you download something with plex on windows it will store it in the %LOCALAPPDATA%PlexPlex Media ServerSync folder. If you want to add files to your own server from another server you will have to download them AND THEN add them to the server as usual. You download media files from a server for that client and nothing else. Does anyone know the file location for downloaded movies on the Plex for Windows App?Äownloads are client specific. Here is what I did, I am on a windows machine that has the Plex for Windows installed, this app is connected to my plex server and my buddies, I click download, and the file downloads, I can see the files when it completes show up in Plex downloads in the Plex Windows App. ![]() We would like to add the downloaded files to each of our libraries that we downloads from each other. I have a dedicated Plex Server on a QNAP NAS with the lifetime pass, my buddy has the exact same setup as me, I can connect to my buddies Plex server and can download files as he can also from my setup, however when we download the files from each other we cannot figure out where the files are stored that were downloaded on Plex App. Quoted for better readability since you have some spaces in the front of your texts ![]()
